The Why of Earthica
Imagine having a skin reaction that lasted months. MONTHS. And no product you tried made any difference. And make-up only made the bumps seem more noticeable, although less red. And it certainly didn't help the skin to heal.
This was me 10 years ago. I was so self-conscious. Thinking about it now, all I can feel is the embarrassment that I felt, sitting in business meetings, trying to hide my face.
Then I stopped trying everything on offer, and I started researching natural skincare. The Green Beauty market barely existed then, and all I could find were DIY recipes (some dodgy, to say the least), and a few recommendations for skin-friendly oils . I started with the basics, with one oil, and then another. As Green Beauty caught on, more oils became available more easily, and things really took off. I learned to make my own soap. I experimented with natural shampoos. And I made progress. And so did my skin. And I realised, there are other people who need this.
